Terry Levin, an emerging artist, works with oils, charcoal, and pastels. She has studied extensively at the Art Institute of Boston, the DeCordova Museum and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, as well as with painters Judy Fletcher, Ruth Kates and Tom Ouellette. Terry Levin is a member of United South End Artists.

In her new work, Levin uses beeswax to create distance between the viewer and the piece, adding a degree of mystery to her portraits. Her painting captures the essence and the spirit of her subjects.
